Ashburn Neighborhood on Alert: Gunfire Damages Home, No Injuries Reported

ASHBURN, VA – Local authorities are on high alert following a concerning incident of gunfire in a residential neighborhood of Ashburn this past Saturday. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating after shots were fired, resulting in damage to a local home.

The incident is similar to another shooting last week in nearby Sterling VA.

The incident in Ashburn occurred late in the evening, around 10:00 p.m., on Schoolhouse Court, a normally quiet street in the heart of Ashburn. Deputies rushed to the 21500 block following reports that a home, at the time occupied, had been hit by gunfire. No injuries have been reported in the wake of the incident.

The Sheriff’s Office is extending a call to action for any witnesses or individuals with information regarding the events that night. Detective R.
